The Continuing Church of God has brethren scattered throughout the world. We consider ourselves to be part of the "little flock" that Jesus promised His kingdom to.
Luke 12:32
“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom”.
In past centuries, that little flock would have been small church groups in different, diverse, locations. Most members would have been part of a physical congregation. In the 21st century, God is calling people from every corner of the world. There no longer needs to be a congregation nearby to gather together, to worship.
Hebrews 10:25
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
We now have the Internet. Almost everybody, even in poorer countries, prioritise owning a phone connected to the world through mobile networks. In more affluent countries we also have our fibre network cables to connect us.
We no longer need a building in which to meet together. We can now virtually meet and encourage, just as we are urged to do in Hebrews.
There are several on-line CCOG meetings in various parts of the world. In the UK we have our own very small group that meets each week for services and studies. We currently have members also join us from North and South America.
To enable us to meet together we use Microsoft Teams. We can't promise you a slick presentation. However, we are trying to ensure that anyone, anywhere in the world, has the opportunity to fulfill the exhortation in the above verse.
If you think you might like to join us sometime, please contact us and we will send you a link to use in your browser or Teams app. We look forward to meeting with you soon!
