True Christian Basics - Chapter 4.

This is the fourth chapter of our journey to finding the TRUTH, as revealed by God.

Accepting Chapter 3 would have been hard for some Christians. However, it is going to get much more difficult as 99.9%+ of all the worlds churches teach the opposite of the following Bible verses.

John 1:1-5
In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

This is the first chronological passage in the Bible. It tells us of a time before Genesis 1:1.

The earliest event in our Bibles is a war in Heaven and everything on Earth was destroyed. No doubt much in the Solar system and beyond too. The old Worldwide Church of God taught that the dinosaurs were part of a previous age that happened before the Bible got past the first verse.

In those days there was no concept of carbon dating being suspect. That has now been shown to us. We are able to prove that carbon dating doesn’t work. We have also had an explanation of rock and fossil formations. How a volcano can produce a lava layer that can be dated to millions of years old when it was not there last year.

Then from verse two onwards, God RECREATED in 6 days and rested on the Sabbath.

This is the timeline:

1.       War in heaven after Satan and the angels had been given the Earth to live on. Yes, there may been some creatures that maybe were not recreated. Or maybe they were but God didn’t choose them for the ark. That is the unknown part.

2.       God worked for 6 days and restored most or all of what existed previously. Everything was then perfect again as it would have been before.

3.       Adam sinned and the world was changed to a more hostile place. Some animals went from being plant eaters to eating each other. We know this is possible because God tells us that he is changing it back again when His Kingdom comes. This would just require simple DNA and instinct changes. Nothing will need to eat some other animals’ flesh to survive.

4.       The flood destroyed everything with such force that all the vegetation that go buried and compressed in the heat was turned in to gas and oil. That may also have happened during Satan’s war and during the reconstruction.

5.       Not all the animals on the ark survived to this day. We know that many species have been killed by man and environmental changes. The offspring of the two baby dinosaur kind, on the ark, haven’t made it this far, but Job certainly saw something much bigger than anything in existence today. Perhaps Job lived before the Flood. Either way we know that these big creatures were in the world that God recreated.

The Bible tells us the important things that we need to know. It doesn't go in to detail in areas that God doesn't think we need to know. We need to remember that.

If it is in the Bible, we need to pay attention to it. If it isn't then, although we may want to imagine these extra missing details, God didn't think we need to be given a fuller picture at this time.

Such a question that we don't get an answer for is "how old is God". He doesn't tell us.

But the first verse above would suggest that God has always existed. Even if God did have a beginning, then He probably hasn't told us as we are incapable of comprehending the vast length of time compared with our 70 year existence.

God is two beings - Father and Son

What God does tell us is that in the beginning there were two beings. The Father and the Word.

The Word was the spirit being that became Jesus.

Here is where the majority of "Christians" start believing lies. You will have been told that the God of the Old Testament was a harsh, bloodthirsty being and that Jesus came to change things and bring love and peace to the world. You will have been told that the "meek and mild" Jesus came to do away with the old "bad - no longer needed" God's Law stuff.

Jesus DIDN'T come to bring peace

Exactly what did Jesus have to say about that?

Matthew 10:34
“Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword.

Matthew 5:17-19
“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus DIDN'T come to bring peace

Well. Jesus said the exact opposite of what most churches will teach you. I repeat, the exact opposite. Again a lie and not just one lie. You will read the TRUTH in the two passages above.

You will also have been told that there was a third being in the Godhead, called the Spirit. This isn't what John tells us. It also wasn't what the apostles and the early Christians believed. Remember. the apostles were directly taught by Jesus. You would reasonably expect them to get it right, wouldn't you? It also wasn't what God's True Church has believed and taught for the past two thousand years.

So, in the beginning was God the Father and God the Son.

Everything was created by Jesus

God the Father told God the Son what He had planned and God the Son made it all happen.

The God that spoke to Adam and Eve. The God that gave the Ten Commandments to Moses in person, was Jesus, the Son of God.

God's Spirit is a force - not a being

I personally am very happy with the fact that True Christianity teaches a two person God.

Most of Christianity teaches that the Spirit is a concious being. As a converted person I have God's Spirit inside of me.

Think about it for a moment. If God's Spirit is a living being, then I am POSSESSED! Well, I do have God's Spirit, but as it's a force and not a being. I am free to do my own will, guided by God's Spirit. Not possessed and controlled by a spirit being, however well intentioned it may be.

Accurate translations of the Bible do actually call God's Spirit "IT". No accurate translation uses "HE". The ones that have deliberately translated God's Spirit as a "HE" are the ones that God will deny the blessings to when they are resurrected, as mentioned in the previous chapter.

If you are new to True Christianity, you may well have difficulty getting over the Truth in this chapter. However, you DO need to get passed it to continue your journey discovering all the TRUE secrets of Christianity.

You really need to make sure you that you trust the words written for you by God, not what the "knowledgeable" theologians teach from their pulpits. Now you have seen Jesus' own words above - DON'T BELIEVE THE LIES. They are merely fables imagined by people that haven't taken the trouble to really look at what God's Word tells us. Just as you left the tooth fairy and Santa Claus behind when you grew up, so you must do with your Christian life. You can be a mature True Christian. Simply believe what God tells you really is the TRUTH.
