At the time of writing USA government debt was $39 trillion. $1 trillion is being paid in interest each year. That is approximately $7800 per USA household. How long can this status quo last?

UK government debt is nearing \u00a33 trillion. This is \u00a340,500 per person living in the UK!.

Spending money that we haven’t earned is “dishonest gain”.

Matthew 16:2-3<\/span>
\u201cYou know the saying, \u2018Red sky at night means fair weather tomorrow; red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.\u2019 You know how to interpret the weather signs in the sky, but you don\u2019t know how to interpret the signs of the times! <\/span>

Deuteronomy 28:43-52<\/span>
\u201cThe foreigners living among you will become stronger and stronger, while you become weaker and weaker. They will lend money to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, and you will be the tail! \u201cIf you refuse to listen to the LORD your God and to obey the commands and decrees he has given you, all these curses will pursue and overtake you until you are destroyed. These horrors will serve as a sign and warning among you and your descendants forever. If you do not serve the LORD your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received, you will serve your enemies whom the LORD will send against you. You will be left hungry, thirsty, naked, and lacking in everything. The LORD will put an iron yoke on your neck, oppressing you harshly until he has destroyed you. \u201cThe LORD will bring a distant nation against you from the end of the earth, and it will swoop down on you like a vulture. It is a nation whose language you do not understand, a fierce and heartless nation that shows no respect for the old and no pity for the young. Its armies will devour your livestock and crops, and you will be destroyed. They will leave you no grain, new wine, olive oil, calves, or lambs, and you will starve to death. They will attack your cities until all the fortified walls in your land \u2014 the walls you trusted to protect you \u2014 are knocked down. They will attack all the towns in the land the LORD your God has given you.<\/span>

Habakkuk 2:2-8<\/span>
Then the LORD said to me, \u201cWrite my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. \u201cLook at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. Wealth is treacherous, and the arrogant are never at rest. They open their mouths as wide as the grave, and like death, they are never satisfied. Now you will get what you deserve! You\u2019ve become rich by extortion, but how much longer can this go on?\u2019 Suddenly, your debtors will take action. They will turn on you and take all you have, while you stand trembling and helpless. Because you have plundered many nations, now all the survivors will plunder you.
