{"id":641,"date":"2025-02-02T11:45:16","date_gmt":"2025-02-02T11:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccog.uk\/?page_id=641"},"modified":"2026-02-14T21:44:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-14T21:44:15","slug":"holy-or-pagan","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ccog.uk\/wps\/getting-started\/what-god-requires-of-me\/holy-or-pagan\/","title":{"rendered":"Holy Or Pagan?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n{&#8220;title&#8221;:&#8221;&#8221;,&#8221;nav_menu&#8221;:&#8221;6&#8243;}\n<h2 style=\"color: rgb(230, 0, 0); font-family: &quot;Instrument Serif&quot;, serif; font-size: 42.2889px;\">What God Requires Of Me \u2013 Chapter 4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<p>In the last chapter, we found out that God does actually require us all to keep a Saturday Sabbath and that it WASN\u2019T changed to Sunday.<br><br>Likewise, we will now find out that God ALSO expects us to keep His Holy Days and NOT some man-made make up and pretend days!<br><br>God told us that there are three Holy festival seasons, and contained within these periods are seven Holy Days.<br><br>Holy days are annual Sabbaths and kept exactly like the weekly one. No work from sunset to sunset!<br><br>On these Holy Days, God also expects us to give a freewill offering. We will cover the money side in a later chapter.<br><br>For now, let\u2019s start with the correct days to keep each year.<br><br>The\n first season each year are the Days of Unleavened Bread. There is a \nfirst day and a last day, separated by seven days. The first day is a \nSabbath and the last day is a Sabbath.<br>&nbsp;<br>For 2026, the <span style=\"color:#9933ff;\">First Day of Unleavened Bread<\/span> is kept from sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">1 April<\/span> until sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">2 April<\/span>.<br><br><\/p><p>The <span style=\"color:#9933ff;\">Last Day of Unleavened Bread<\/span> is kept from sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">7 April<\/span> until sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">8 April<\/span>.<br><br>All\n leaven must be removed from our houses, vehicles any other area that we\n have control over. We must also eat no leaven during this week. More \ndetails on all these days will be in a later chapter. For now I am just \ncovering the \u201cbare bones\u201d to get you started.<br><br>The second season is Pentecost. This is always a Sunday.<br><br>For 2026, <span style=\"color:#9933ff;\">Pentecost<\/span> is kept from sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">23 May<\/span> until sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">24 May<\/span>.<br><br>The last season, in the autumn, contains the remaining four Holy Days.<br><br>First we have The Feast of Trumpets.<br><br>For 2026, <span style=\"color:#9933ff;\">The Feast of Trumpets<\/span> is kept from sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">11 September<\/span> until sunset <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">12 September<\/span>.<br><br>Next we have the Day Atonement.<br><br>For 2026, the <span style=\"color:#9933ff;\">Day of Atonement<\/span> is kept from sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">20 September<\/span> until sunset&nbsp;<span style=\"color:#e60000;\">21 September<\/span>.<br><br>During this time God requires that we eat and drink nothing for the full 24 hours. The only exceptions being if we are already &#8220;afflicted&#8221; by an illness or in the case of ladies, if they are pregnant.&nbsp;<br><br>The\n Feast of Tabernacles lasts a week. The first day is a Holy Day. The \nFeast then ends with the Last Great Day which is the final Holy Day of \nthe year. The intervening days are not Holy Days.<br><br>For 2026, the <span style=\"color:#9933ff;\">Feast of Tabernacles<\/span> is kept from sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">25 September <\/span>until sunset <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">2 October<\/span>.<br><br>From sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">25 September<\/span> until sunset&nbsp;<span style=\"color:#e60000;\">26 September<\/span> is the Holy Day.<br><br>The <span style=\"color:#9933ff;\">Last Great Day<\/span> in 2026 is kept from sunset on <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">2 October<\/span> until sunset <span style=\"color:#e60000;\">3 October.<br><br><span style=\"color:#9933ff;\">THESE ARE GOD\u2019S HOLY DAYS!<br><br><span style=\"color:#e60000;\">THESE ARE THE DATES THAT ALL TRUE CHRISTIANS OBSERVE AND MUST KEEP HOLY.<br><br><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\">All\n others are made up days that God tells us not to observe.
