What God Requires Of Me – Chapter 3
God’s little flock has always kept the Sabbath
holy. From Adam and Eve through to the present age, there have been a
continuous group of people observing the Sabbath as God commands.
Without doubt, you can’t be a True Christian and ignore the Sabbath.
Exodus 20:8-11
“Remember
to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each
week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of
rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your
household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters,
your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living
among you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the
sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is
why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.
All
faithful people in old testament times kept the Sabbath. All faithful
Christians in new testament times kept the Sabbath. And, right through
to this very day there have been True Christians observing the Sabbath
each week.
The Sabbath starts at sunset each Friday and lasts
until sunset each Saturday. It always has and always will. Only people
that were not interested in OBEDIENCE to God decide to keep it on
Sunday.
Going shopping or watching sports on Saturday and going
to church on Sunday is simply being DISOBEDIENT and doesn’t cut it with
God! If you think any different you are being completely illusional.
You either obey God or you don’t. Black or white. Right or wrong. There
can be no compromise! No grey area, no half right or half wrong. NO
COMPROMISE will excuse your DISOBEDIENCE.
Wherever you choose to
do your research, you will find that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday
by a MAN. God doesn’t change his mind.
Malachi 3:6
“I am the Lord, and I do not change.
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
If
even Jesus didn’t change the Sabbath, then certainly no one else has
the authority to do so. All the apostles kept it and every TRUE
CHRISTIAN church era since has been keeping it.
